Overview
Safe Square is a modern lifestyle hub. The platform seamlessly connects users with the best people, products, and services across Safe Market (e-commerce), Safe Beauty (skincare and cosmetics), Safe Pharmacy (medications), Safe Grocery, Safe Express (quick deliveries), and other services. The Beauty shop module includes AI-powered Skin Care Analysis and a Period Tracking tool for personalized wellness. The ecosystem comprises separate apps: a consumer app for shopping and services, a dedicated seller app for merchants to manage inventory and orders, and a deliverer app for logistics and last-mile fulfillment. Built as a sophisticated B2B2C e-commerce ecosystem with advanced inventory management.
Challenge
The primary architectural hurdle was distributed state synchronization. The client required real-time inventory parity across a high-traffic mobile marketplace and three distinct app experiences: consumer, seller, and deliverer. Maintaining data consistency during peak hours, handling offline-first scenarios, and ensuring sub-second response times for stock checks across the distributed network were critical requirements that standard off-the-shelf solutions could not meet.
Solution
We engineered a hub-and-spoke architecture powered by a customized Laravel backend serving as the central Source of Truth. We built three Flutter apps (consumer, seller, and deliverer). The Beauty module integrates skin analysis and period tracking with personalized recommendations. We implemented a custom BLoC pattern for state management, Firebase Cloud Messaging for instant order triggers, and a sophisticated caching layer to ensure business continuity even during intermittent connectivity.
